			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Many people watch a game of soccer and do not know the number of hours get into practicing the different <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/">soccer skills</a> needed to play the overall game.  To be a decent player, you will spend a lot of time doing boring <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/the-importance-of-practicing-soccer-skills">coaching drills</a>.  Fundamental essentials foundation of soccer; they enable you to get a body used to doing certain moves without having to think about it.</p>
<p> Running down a field while keeping control of a ball is not as easy as it looks.  Consider that there will be a number of other people trying to get that ball from you and it is even harder.  When you join a team become familiar with how to move having a ball, how you can ensure that it stays from the other team, how to pass it, and you&#8217;ll learn to get this done while running as quickly as you can.  If you&#8217;re able to have at least a part of what you ought to do almost automatic, then you can focus on other activities.  The drills can help you with this particular.</p>
<p> While at practice you need to be careful about your team mates too.  Find out how they move, listen once the coach tells you about individual strengths and weaknesses.  Soccer is really a team sport, and you all need to know how to play with one another.  Don&#8217;t think of the hour you spent passing the ball around the field as a chore or punishment, instead give consideration.  As it pertains game time you will have to know such things as number 3 is great when the ball is coming to him on the right, but misses a great deal if developing the left.</p>
<p> You should be sure you go to all your practices.  Yes, this will mean quitting a number of your spare time.  Practice might not be as entertaining as a game, but if you do not go you will not have the ability to play.  Your coach, or the organization itself, may have rules on attending practices to be eligible to experience.  More to the point though, if you do not visit practices you will not have the <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerskillsblog.com/soccer-skills/soccer-skills-the-keys-to-success">soccer fitness</a> to experience.  You are no good to the team if you get fatigued in the middle of the game.  Remember to remain up and moving, during half time you may want to spend a couple of minutes re-warming up before going back out to play.</p>
<p> Soccer might not be a full contact sport, but there is a lot of endurance needed, and lots of skill.  If you plan on playing the overall game, take time to learn the basic soccer skills and intend on practicing a great deal!</p>

It means that if you can train your players in a way that emulates their activity when playing on the field, then you must spend the majority of your time training in that way. <p> With a view to develop power, the speed of the training or exercise is vital. The role of players in team sports, their age, physical and mental capacity to take stress and their player’s level must be considered when coaching them in weight training programs.</p>

Injury prevention even though not directly contributing to the play, is important as it ensures that the players are fit to play at the most critical times of the year.</p>
<p> Running, sprinting, turning and twisting, side-stepping, and getting ready for a shot are all the exercises performed in soccer. The &#8220;anterior and posterior chain,&#8221; are the chain of muscles which are required to perform these actions must be given importance to develop strength, stability and power.</p>
<p> So for creating these muscles core lifts, like squats and deadlifts are important exercises. The general soccer fitness program may be used commonly but these two core lifts are very essential for leg, hip, back and abdominal strength.</p>
<p> To concentrate on the shoulders, arms and back muscle areas the program should also include swimming.</p>
<p> Strength programs normally consist of heavy loads and a small number of repetitions. Some sports require bulk and strength while some others have to ensure they combine adequate strength with mobility, speed and stamina like a mid-fielder in soccer.</p>
<p> Working on very special muscle groups can also enhance the performance even if primary strength, power or endurance gains are lacking. Thus the lower back and hamstrings, and the quadriceps muscles that aids the knee joint function are such muscle groups.</p>

The soccer fitness plan discussed in this article will help you prepare your players for playing soccer at a higher level.</p>
<p> In soccer weight training, the goal is to have muscles that are strong, fast, and have great stamina rather that to add pounds of muscle mass. Upper body weight training for soccer is not as important as is for the legs, but we still do it for overall conditioning and strength.</p>
<p> My suggestion is to focus your fitness training beginning with the legs. Start with squats. After a light warm-up set, load the bar to a weight you think your players can get 20 reps with. Let&#8217;s say they are pretty strong, so tell them to begin with 220 pounds. This practice is performed by getting below the bar, and putting it across their upper back and then stand up with it.</p>
<p> Next tell them to stand having their shoulders and feet width apart. Then they should come down while holding it till their hips are only marginally lower than the top of their knees. In weight training soccer, after coming to this point the players should quickly stand up fully and breathe out. They should be motivated to do this for 20 reps even when they are totally worked out.</p>
<p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/fitness">Soccer Fitness</a></p>
<p> Next is working on hamstrings, but before that have a 5-10 minutes break. They are required to do 15 repetitions of 4 sets each. They will be required to perform 4 sets of 15 reps on the Stiff-Legged Dead lift between each set of Leg Curl exercises. Hamstrings are vital for players speed, thus we would want them to be strong enough.</p>
<p> The leg exercises will be completed with 3 sets of 25 reps on the Standing calf-raise machine.</p>
<p> Begin with using the Incline bench press, for the upper body workout.<br /> After a warm up exercise, guide players to add enough weight so that the next set of 10 reps gets difficult. They should continue with that weight for 5 sets of 10 repetitions total, while stretching their chest and shoulders, and resting for around 2 minutes between each set.</p>
<p> Next are the pull-up exercises in this section of soccer strength training. They should work out on their biceps and back by making their palms facing their body. The last part of the upper body portion of this workout is to work out the abdominals and 5 sets of 20 or more reps of leg raises would do well. The last in this work out are the crunches do 5 sets of 50 or more.</p>

<p> The players are supposed to be speedy in their actions along with the upper body strength to meet challenges. They need outstanding levels of both aerobic and anaerobic stamina to last the duration. If you get your players to simply lift weights just like the bodybuilders, you are doing yourself, your team and your game a great harm.</p>
<p> Bodybuilders, and athletes whose sports are mainly strength based, train to increase size, bulk and utmost strength. They will not worry if it destroys their aerobic endurance levels or their quickness and flexibility.</p>

<p>  Muscular Power: It is the outcome of both absolute strength and the speed of movement. If you increase either of these, without lowering the other, the explosive power of players will increase.</p>
<p> But, if you just follow a generalized weight training routine that most of the popular fitness magazines advocate, you will increase power. Those traditional soccer fitness programs can also can be amended if you intentionally increase contraction speed.</p>
<p> Strength Endurance: It is the capacity of a muscle group to make repetitive and high-intensity movements. Strength endurance, similar to power is very vital to the game of soccer.</p>
<p> A great significant should be given to include strength endurance in your program. Going back to the basic 3 sets of 8-12 reps each, general weights programs are unproductive for developing soccer-specific strength endurance.</p>

<p>You&#8217;ve probably heard it a hundred times that a basic <a target="_blank" href="http://www.soccerdrillstips.com/soccer_conditioning.html">soccer conditioning</a> program is at the core of a team&#8217;s success. It is because of soccer exercises which build strength, agility, and endurance that players manage to stay in shape and thus dream to become match winners for their team.</p>
<p> Nevertheless, situations may arise where you or your team don’t get sufficient time to practice before a match. But you don’t need to compromise on the conditioning exercises because of this. You don’t wish to see your players getting hurt prior to the match or at some point in the game.</p>
<p> If a soccer fitness training series is devised correctly, even 3 days time would be sufficient to train the players fully. All you need to do is be honest in carrying out the plan based on some good homework. There are one or two tips which work well with short but successful training plans.</p>
<p> Warming up: Guide the players to open with any of these; high knees, jumping, or heel flicks or a five minute jog. Take adequate rest for a few seconds in between. Then tone the muscles up by doing some stretching exercises for 5 minutes. Make it a point that these soccer workouts comprise of all the key muscle groups.</p>

<p>Running: Some coaches have a tendency to make the players do constant running. While that is not bad, I recommend that you make the players do soccer-specific running. This leads to the fact that they do running, jogging, walking, and sprinting in no set order for half an hour.</p>
<p> This running at varying speeds builds stamina and also helps players control their body. And they do not feel exhausted since a walk after a sprint evens things out.</p>
<p> Just let the individual players decide on what they wish to do and when. If they have a liking for sprinting more than jogging, so be it. As the kids develop more strength and energy, you can increase the length of the soccer conditioning program by 10 minutes.</p>
<p> Stretching: Encourage the players to do it whenever they can; after a training session and after the match. Concentrate on working out the whole body specially the hamstrings, groins, quads, calves and lower back. Ensure that the stretching postures are longer than the warm-up sessions. Generally, 20 to 30 seconds is a good duration.</p>
<p> Make the players rest a day before the match. This will give the muscles time to recuperate and also overrule the possibility of an injury before the big day. It is also a good time to have a discussion with them and boost their confidence.</p>
<p> Share some lighter moments as well so that they get into a great mental shape in addition to the physical one.</p>
